Frank and Carol started square dancing in 1987 and were enjoying dancing so much they were taking three classes a week. They graduated in June 1988 and attended the National Square Dance Convention in Anaheim. They have continued to dance and have attended many dance weekends over the years. They took a break 1996-1999 when they became grandparents and returned to brush up with the Farmers & Charmers class and joined the club in 1999. They have been Visitation Chairpersons; arranging club visitations to neighboring square dance clubs, as well as Caller Coordinating; booking the callers for each of the clubs dances for the past two years. Frank has been in aerospace with the same firm for thirty-nine years. Carol spends two days a week watching her two grandsons, and has fun learning how to do the caller booking via e-mail. |
