Meet Don and Barbara Rabbitt
Publicity

Barbara and Don have lived in the Granada Hills/North Hills area since 1963. They have two adults (formerly children) and three grandchildren, ages 12, 13, and 14 - who live in Northridge and Yorba Linda.

Barbara is a full-time wife, Mom and "Huppa" (family lingo for Grandma). Sometimes, the chauffering, shopping, cooking and tutoring hardly leaves time for dancing. Don keeps busy with his business doing estate planning, living trusts and disability advocacy.

They began square dancing in 1987, when they attended a beginners class taught by the late Clyde Drevere. Some of their classmates are still friends today…and a few are Farmers and Charmers, as well! Originally, Barb and Don were members of the Lads N Lassies dance club, but dropped out for a few years in the mid '90s.

In 2000, they rejoined square dancing and attended the Farmers and Charmers/Larry Ward beginners class to get the "cobwebs" out. The Farmers and Charmers accepted them as members in 2001 and, currently, they are Publicity chairpeople for the club.
